Hello everyone! I made it to Gainesville, Georgia!! After checking in, we (my squad and I) got time to meet and share our stories with each other and get to know each other a little bit before we dove into all the different activities, training, worship, etc. planned over the next couple of days. I have an awesome squad that all love the Lord and a tremendous squad leader who is majoring in biblical studies right now so she knows her stuff!! Today was about intimacy with the Lord, tomorrow is about community, then Friday is the preparation and training in how to go door to door and evangelize to others in South Africa! I’m nervous but excited because I know I can lean on God for all the help I’ll need!

I just had chicken pasta, salad, and bread pudding for dessert and have 30 min of “chill/relax“ time until another team bonding activity! Again, I’m more pleased and happy than I could ever have hoped for. This is right where I am supposed to be. The community of people I am around, God, and the mentors that I’ve talked to over these past 2 days have shown me that these 2 months are going to change my life!! I can’t wait!!

Prayer Requests:

Safe travels for our flight on Friday

That we all pass our Covid tests before our flights
